Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Lawrence County Thursday evening. LeAnn Williamson of Lawrenceville was driving west on US 50 near County Road 1900 East when her vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2004 Chevy pickup truck driven by Lauren Zehner of Lawrenceville. Williamson was injured and taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Zehner suffered leg injuries but was not hospitalized. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
