Congratulations to former Lawrenceville Lady Indian great Chelsea Buher. She is among the 2019 Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame class of inductees. Buher who finished her career as one of the all-time leaders in Lady Indian basketball is already a member of the Lawrenceville High School Hall of Fame. She will go into the IBCA Hall along with current Olney Tiger head basketball coach Rob Flanagan and the late Bill Thompson who broadcast Newton and Flora sports for a number of years before his death this summer. The IBCA induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday May 4th at Redbird Arena in Normal.
