Icy road conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses, have caused accidents across the area this morning. Emergency crews reported problems with vehicles going too fast across bridges this morning. There were reports of an accident on the Red Skelton Bridge just outside of Vincennes. The accident has caused the closing of the bridge for the time being while crews investigate and clean up the accident scene. Another accident reported this morning occurred in southern Pike County with power lines down on State Road 64 near the Pike-Gibson County line. Drivers are reminded to use caution this morning across the area.
