A Bridgeport woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County Tuesday evening. Cynthia Hesler was driving north on Illinois Route 1 just south of County Road 700 North in Denison Township when she collided with a deer. Hesler was injured and taken by private vehicle to the hospital. Her 2013 Buick had to be towed from the scene.
