The Vincennes Redevelopment Commission met in special session Monday morning. The Redevelopment Commission awarded Kerns Excavating the contract to do a new parking lot at Sixth and Main at the site of the former Conoco gas station. Kerns’ contract involves both the lot, and a set of lights along Main Street from Sixth to Seventh. The parking lot is set to be finished by February 1st. The lights and a new canopy are scheduled to be completed by April 1st.
