Crawford County State’s Attorney Matthew Hartrich announced that a Lawrenceville man was sentenced in Crawford County Circuit Court this week. Jason Frederick was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. That will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Frederick was arrested on the initial charge back in January. Frederick was recently booked into the Crawford County Jail on October 15th on charges of Violation of Probation, Escape and Aggravated Assault after he fleed from the Courthouse during a probation appearance. He was apprehended a short time later about a block from the Courthouse.
