MAROONS RUN OVER TRIBE TO SPOIL HOMECOMING

Robinson quarterback Brayden Childress ran 26 times for 239 yards and four touchdowns Saturday afternoon to hand the Lawrenceville Football Indians their seventh straight loss 31-12. The loss spoiled Homecoming 2018 at Ed Loeb Field and kept the Tribe winless on the season while Robinson picked up their 2nd win of the season against 5 losses. The Maroons led 14-0 after one quarter, 24-12 at the half, and 31-12 after three quarters. A bright spot for the Indians was wide reciever Blayne Winningham who caught 7 passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns. The Indians next see action Friday when they head to Bridgeport to meet the Red Hill Salukis in the annual Oilfield Trophy Game.
