The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Boys and Girls Cross Country teams captured four team meets at Sam Parr Lake at Newton Tuesday. The girls won with 34 points followed by host Newton with 44, Cowden-Herrick-Beecher City 76, and Neoga 79. Leading the way was Katie Moore who was second in a time of 18:54, Ophelia Klein 4th at 19:36, Kyanne Waggonner 8th at 20:21, and Maya Wright 9th at 20:31. The boys won with a 34 total with Neoga second with 42, Cowden-Herrick-Beecher City third with 46 while Newton and Flora had no score. Pacing the Tribe was Cole Sumner 4th at 16:21, Brayden Greene 5th at 16:22, and Blaine Hesler 6th at 16:35. Both teams will run in the Cumberland Invitational on Saturday.
