Backup catcher Tony Wolters delivered an RBI single with two out in the top of the 13th inning to propel the Colorado Rockies to a 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs in the National League Wild Card game early Wednesday morning at Wrigley Field.  The Rockies led early 1-0 on a Nolan Arenado sacrifice fly in the first inning and the lead held until the bottom of the 8th inning when Javier Baez of the Cubs tied the game with a run scoring double. In between, Rockies starter Kyle Freeland limited the Cubs to four hits over 6 2/3 scoreless innings. After the Baez hit, the Cubs failed to get a hit drawing three walks with eight strikeouts. Scott Oberg picked up the win for Colorado and Kyle Hendricks took the loss after getting two outs in the 13th before surrendering three straight hits including Wolters’. Colorado will play at Milwaukee Thursday to begin the National League Divisional Series.
