Kyle Hendricks took a one hit shutout into the ninth inning Monday night at Chase Field in Arizona to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks in game one of their three game series. Hendricks gave up a solo homer to AJ Pollack and a two out hit to Paul Goldschmidt before Justin Wilson came in to close out the win.
