Scott Schebler and Phillip Ervin both hit solo homers and those were enough to give the Cincinnati Reds a 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs Sunday in the final game of their three game series at Wrigley Field. The Cubs did win the first two. Joey Votto added three hits to back the strong pitching of Luis Castillo and the Reds bullpen who held the Cub offense to only 1 run on five hits. The win snapped a three game Reds losing skid and stopped a Cub three game winning streak. The Cubs are in Arizona Monday night to open a three game series at Chase Field against the Diamondbacks. Kyle Hendricks (11-11) will go for the Cubs against Patrick Corbin (11-5) for Arizona. You can catch the action on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 8:05 p.m. Central Time 9:05 Eastern.
