Christian Yelich beat out a bases loaded potential inning ending double play grounder to third in the bottom of the ninth inning Monday afternoon to complete a Milwaukee Brewer 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs in game one of their big three game series at Miller Park. Mike Moustakas tied the contest in the bottom of the eighth inning by drawing a bases-loaded walk. That was a half inning after Cub first baseman Anthony Rizzo hit a two run homer off Josh Hader to put the Cubs ahead 3-2. The loss cuts the Cub lead in the NL Central to four games over the Brewers and 5 1/2 over the St Louis Cardinals. Game two is Tuesday night with Mike Montgomery (4-4) pitching for the Cubs and Wade Miley (2-2) for the Brewers. You can catch the action on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 6:35 p.m. Central Time 7:35 Eastern.
