Tommy La Stella hit the first pinch-hit homer of his career and first this season in the top of the sixth inning Thursday night to give the Chicago Cubs a 5-4 win over the Atlanta Braves in Atlanta. The game at Suntrust Field was a makeup of a date rained out in May. The blast wiped out a 4-3 Braves lead. Brandon Kinsler picked up the win in relief with Pedro Strop pitching the ninth for his 11th save. The Cubs are in Philadelphia Friday night to open up a series against the Phillies with Jose Quintana (11-9) pitching for the Cubs and Nick Pivetta (7-10) for the Phils. Due to high school football coverage on Lite 103 the game will not be heard. Lite 103 coverage of the Cubs resumes Saturday night with game two of the series.
