CUBS SPLIT GAMES WITH METS WEDNESDAY

Todd Frazier hit a grand slam and drove in 5 runs to lead the New York Mets to a 10-3 win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Wednesday afternoon in the final game of the three game series. The win came after the Mets lost 2-1 in 11 innings in the completion of the game suspended by rain Tuesday night. Ben Zobrist hit a bases-loaded RBI single for the Cubs to win that  game. The Cubs took two of three against the Mets and will be in Atlanta Thursday night to play a rescheduled game with the Braves at Suntrust Field. They had been slated for an off day. The pitching pairing has Mike Montgomery (4-4) on the mound for the Cubs and Mike Foltynewicz (10-8) for the Braves. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame at 6 p.m. Central Time 7 p.m. Eastern.
