David Bote belted a two-run homer and drove in three runs as the Chicago Cubs rolled to a 9-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds Sunday at Wrigley Field. The victory completed a sweep of the four game series. Kyle Schwarber also went deep and Jason Heyward added four hits in the contest. The offense backed the solid pitching of starter Kyle Hendricks who limited the Reds to a pair of hits over seven shutout innings. The win keeps the Cubs four games ahead of the Cardinals in the NL Central Division. The Cubs are back in action Monday night as they host the New York Mets in the opener of a three game series. A great pitching pairing in the first game-Noah Syndergaard (9-3) for the Mets against Jon Lester (14-5) for the Cubs. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame at 6:30 p.m. Central Time 7:30 Eastern.
