A portion of Sixth Street in downtown Vincennes will close this evening for road work. Sixth Street between Main and Vigo Streets in downtown Vincennes will close from six p-m eastern tonight until 6 a-m eastern tomorrow morning. This is being done so Vectren gas crews can replace some valves as part of the Bare Steel Pipe Replacement Program. Drivers are reminded to be aware of the closure.
