Buster Posey singled off the right field wall driving in the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning Wednesday to give the San Francisco Giants a 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs. The hit scored shortstop Brandon Belt who had walked with two outs and moved to second on Andrew McCutcheon’s single. The hit spoiled the major league debut of Cub reliever James Norwood who took the loss. Dereck Rodriguez picked up the win in relief for the Giants, who won two of three in the series at AT and T Park. Kris Bryant did return to the Cub lineup from the disabled list and hit a two run homer. The Cubs are off Thursday and will head to San Diego to open up a weekend series with the Padres before the All-Star break.
