A St. Francisville woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County Monday evening. Donna Ice was driving south on Illinois Route 1 near Ambraw Asphalt just south of Lawrenceville when she suffered a medical problem behind the wheel. Ice lost consciousness and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle went off the roadway and ran into a fence before coming to rest in an empty lot. Ice was injured and taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Ice’s 2016 Jeep Utility had to be towed from the scene.
