The City of Lawrenceville will host its annual fireworks show beginning at dusk. Those will be lit behind Lawrenceville High School on James Street. The City of Sumner will host its fireworks show on the 4th as well at the Sumner City Park at 9 p.m. Free ice cream will be available while supplies last.

The annual Vincennes Fourth of July parade will step off at 6 pm eastern starting at Second and Hart streets and ending at the Riverfront Pavilion at Second and Main. The Vincennes fireworks begin promptly at dark with members of the American Legion Post 73 setting them off from the Lincoln Memorial Bridge. Otwell’s Jefferson Township Ruritan Celebration starts the 4th and runs through Saturday the 7th. The parade is Wednesday the 4th at 10-am and the rest of the week is filled with carnival activities, truck and tractor pulls and more. The City of St. Francisville will try once again to host their Fish Fry and Fireworks this Saturday at the River Park. It was originally set to take place this past weekend, but was re-scheduled due to the river being too high.
