Cubs pitcher Jon Lester hit a rare three run home run that ignited an eight run bottom of the second inning in a wild 11-10 interleague win over the Minnesota Twins Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field. The win was the fourth in a row for the Cubs and completed a sweep of the three game series. Javier Baez also doubled home two runs in the inning. Ian Happ homered in the fifth to increase the lead to 10-3 in the fifth. The Twins closed the gap with five runs in the top of the eighth but fell short in the ninth against closer Brandon Morrow. The Cubs are idle Monday before opening a brief two game interleague series Tuesday at Wrigley against the Detroit Tigers.
