The Cincinnati Reds remained red hot as they rallied late Sunday afternoon and beat the Chicago Cubs 8-6 in the final game of their four game series at Great American Ballpark. The win completed the Reds first four game sweep of the Cubs since 1983. Jesse Winker hit a pinch three run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning and Joey Votto doubled home the go-ahead run later as the Reds erased a 6-2 deficit off Pedro Strop. The Cubs played without Kris Bryant for a second straight game because of a sore left shoulder. He is listed as day to day. The Cubs remain two games behind Milwaukee in the National League Central Division. They will be in Los Angeles Monday night to open a four game series against the Dodgers. Pitching pairing has Duane Underwood Jr making his major league debut for the Cubs against Kenta Maeda (4-4) for LA. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 8:35 p.m. Central Time 9:35 p.m. Eastern.
