A search is ongoing for a missing suspect in southern Vigo County. The sheriff’s department had initiated a manhunt in the area of Dallas Drive, Carlisle Place and Sullivan Place. The suspect is 37 year-old John Brown. Brown is described as a white male about 5-feet, 10-inches tall weighing 170 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes. Brown fled from police on a blue and white all-terrain vehicle. Brown is wanted on a warrant from Vigo Superior Court Six for burglary, auto theft and being a habitual offender. He also has pending drug charges. Anyone who spots Brown is asked to call 9-1-1 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or 812-238-STOP.
