One of the three inmates who escaped from the White County Jail in Carmi Saturday morning has been captured. 28 year-old Justin Bray was captured Saturday night in a rural town north of the jail. Police say the three inmates used a pipe to break a hole in the brick wall of the jail when they escaped Saturday morning. The other two inmates, 61 year-old Johnny Tipton and 24 year-old Zachery Shock, are still on the loose. Shock is awaiting trial in Hamilton County on a charge of first-degree murder. Tipton was in jail on a charge of theft and possession of stolen property. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the escapees should contact the White County Sheriff’s Department at 618-382-5321 or their local law enforcement office. Both men are considered dangerous. Do not attempt to approach either of the escapees.
