Jhoulys Chacin scattered four hits over six innings and outdueled Mike Montgomery to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 1-0 win Wednesday afternoon at Miller Park. Lorenzo Cain of the Brewers plated the only run off the contest with a solo homer off Montgomery who allowed only two hits over six innings but recieved no offensive support. The Cubs won the series opener in extra innings Monday but were shackled and shut out by Brewer pitching Tuesday and Wednesday. The win was only the third in eleven games for Milwaukee against the Cubs and allows them to open a 1 1/2 game lead in the National League Central Division. The Cubs are off Thursday and return to action Friday night when they open up a three game series in St Louis against the Cardinals.
