Former Red Hill Saluki Landon Florkowski is among the players for the East who will play the West in this weekends 44th annual Illinois High School Shrine Football Game in Bloomington Illinois. The game features some of the most outstanding senior players from across the state. Tuesday is the first official day of practice for the game, which is Saturday at 1 p.m. at Tucci Stadium on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University. The 6′ 1″ 190 lb Florkowski was an All Little Illini Conference selection who helped lead the Salukis to an undefeated regular season and a berth in the Illinois Class 1A football state quarterfinals.
