Ian Happ made a spectacular diving catch of a Josh Harrison drive in the left-field corner to end the game and preserve a 3-1 win by the Chicago Cubs over the Pittsburgh Pirates Friday afternoon in game one of their three game series at Wrigley Field. It was the third outstanding defensive play of the day by the Cub outfielder. Kris Bryant batted leadoff for the first time in his major league career and had three hits and scored a run in the win. The two teams will battle again Saturday afternoon with Nick Kingham (2-2) pitching for Pittsburgh and Jon Lester (6-2) going for the Cubs.
