RIZZO LEADS CUBS TO WIN

Anthony Rizzo hit a solo homer and a sacrifice fly to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in the final game of their three game series at Wrigley Field Thursday afternoon. Tommy LaStella and Kris Bryant added RBI singles in the win. Brian Duensing picked up the win in relief as the Cubs drew to within one half game of Central Division leader Milwaukee. Brandon Morrow pitched the ninth for his 15th save. The Cubs remain at home Friday to begin a three game weekend set against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Chad Kuhl (4-3) is to start for the Pirates and Mike Montgomery (1-1) will go for the Cubs. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame at 12:45 p.m. Central Time 1:45 Eastern.
