The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced lane restrictions for U.S. 41 north of Vincennes next Wednesday for a slide correction. Contractors will close the northbound driving (right) lane of U.S. 41 about half a mile south of the exit to State Road 67 as they begin to work on the slide repair. During this restriction, the northbound driving lane will be closed, but the passing lane will be open and restricted to a width of 12 feet. Depending upon weather conditions, the operation is expected to take until the end of June. The Department of Transportation urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
