Sandra Gayle Murray, age 74 of Lawrenceville, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 in Vincennes, IN at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born March 15, 1944 in Lawrenceville to Leo and Roberta (Fleming) Jennings.
Gayle married Ronald Lee Murray, and he preceded her in death.
She had been a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bridgeport for many years. Gayle had worked years ago as an LPN, and she had worked more recently at Red Door Industries (a Four Rivers Corporation) in Washington, IN.
Gayle is survived by: seven children- Ann Carr and husband Jim of St. Francisville, Kevin Wirth and wife Grace of Lawrenceville, Tony Wirth and wife Jill of Columbus, IN, Chris Murray and wife Rowena (Raquel) of Washington, IN, Amanda Daily and husband Chris of Evansville, IN, Erica Murray and her boyfriend Chris of Louisville, KY, and Jonathan Murray of Washington, IN: five siblings- Sue Rice of Bridgeport, Jo Hightower and husband Tom of Kokomo, IN, Mike Jennings of Evansville, IN, Keith Jennings and wife CeeCee of Texas, and Beth Jennings of Bridgeport: nine grandchildren: and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Leo and Roberta Jennings: her husband- Ronald Lee Murray: and one brother- Ron Jennings.
A graveside service for Sandra Gayle Murray will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
