Three Richland County Residents Indicted on Methamphetamine Related Charges

Three Olney residents have been charged with methamphetamine related offenses in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury, Donald S. Boyce, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that 35 year-old Justin R. Mason, 34 year-old Harvey L. Ireland and 25 year-old Brianna N. Bare were charged on May 8th in a three-count superseding indictment charging that from August of 2017, until about March 7th this year in Richland County, and elsewhere, Mason, Ireland, and Bare all conspired to knowingly and intentionally distribute methamphetamine. Ireland and Bare both made their initial appearance and were arraigned in federal court on May 14th. Mason and Ireland were ordered detained in federal custody pending trial, which is presently scheduled to begin on July 23rd at the federal courthouse in Benton.
