The Friends of the Lawrence Public Library received a sizable memorial donation over the weekend. The Friends of the Lawrence Public Library received a $50,000 donation from the estate of Lawrenceville native Gary Alford. Members of Alford’s family were on hand Saturday to present the $50,000 check. The Lawrence Public Library itself will also receive $5,000 from Alford’s estate.
