The farm worker found dead in Knox County earlier this week has now been identified. Knox County Coroner Brian Hagen identified the victim as 45 year-old Victor Manuel Murrieta Martinez of Oaktown. Martinez was found dead next to his work truck by a field electrical water irrigator a few miles south of Oaktown Tuesday. Martinez’s name had been withheld until his family could be notified. The investigation continues as officials are awaiting the toxicology results.
