The Lawrence Public Library Board of Trustees met in regular session Tuesday night. The Library Board received a positive fiscal report from accountant David Weger. Weger said revenue was over what had been anticipated while expenditures came in under budget. The board also officially approved the promotion of Dianne Brumley to the Library Director’s position effective August 1st. Brumley will replace the retiring Terri Tucker.
