The Knox County Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday night. The Commissioners selected Myszak and Palmer as their engineer for proposed work on the Pantheon Theater. The work is dependent on a successful awarding of a state OCRA grant for the historic preservation project. If the grant is approved, the funding would allow renovation of the Pantheon’s exterior including a new marquee, a new ticket booth, and improvements to the front of the structure. County and City officials are wanting to turn the building into a business incubator known as the Pantheon Business Theater.
