Knox County authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash near Monroe City early this morning. Authorities say a car hit a utility pole in the 12-thousand block of Black Road. The pole was reportedly snapped in half from the impact of the crash. No one was found with the car when authorities arrived on the scene. Investigation into the accident continues.
