BASEBALL INDIANS SUFFER LOPSIDED LOSS AT HOME

The struggles for the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians continued at Unit 20 Ballpark Thursday as they were blasted by visiting Olney (Richland County) 18-6 in 5 innings. The Tigers scored 18 runs on 10 hits including 3 home runs enroute to the win. The Tribe scored 6 runs on 6 hits and made 5 errors. Christian Beamon had 2 hits and drove in 2 for the Indians and Conner O’Dell had 2 hits and an RBI and Ethan Kelly drove in 2. The loss was the seventh in a row for the team and they will take a 2-10 record into a non-conference game Friday at home against Clay City.
