A Pierceton, Indiana man was arrested following a pursuit that ended just outside of Bicknell Wednesday night. Knox County Sheriff’s deputies were attempting to stop a vehicle driven by 46 year-old Kevin Staley near Church Road. Staley tried to flee police. Authorities then pursued Staley’s vehicle onto Golf Course Road. Police reports say Staley’s vehicle crashed on Golf Course Road. Staley then tried to flee the area on foot before being captured near the corner of Golf Course and Scepter Roads. Staley is charged with resisting law enforcement, meth possession, possession of marijuana, and driving while suspended. He also faces Knox Superior Court Two warrants for failure to respond to a summons, theft, and battery resulting in bodily injury. Staley was taken to the Knox County Jail.
