One person was killed and another was injured in a reported double shooting west of Oaktown Wednesday night. Authorities did a welfare check at 3386 East Cardinal Road. They arrived and found 56 year-old Sharon Patton dead inside the residence. Authorities also found 63 year-old Roger Darrough inside the garage with serious injuries. Darrough was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes before being airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Indiana State Police say they believe Darrough and Patton were the only ones involved in the incident. State Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to investigate.
