The Vincennes Board of Works met in special session Monday afternoon. The Board of Works accepted bids for Phase One of the Main Street project. Phase One of the Main Street project runs from 22nd Street going east to the Jamestown Square Apartments. Kerns Excavating came in with the lowest bid at just under $3.8 million. Ragel, Incorporated; Wabash Utilities; Blankenberger Construction; and Milestone Contractors also put in bids.
