Francisco Cervelli hit a three run homer and Corey Dickerson added three hits and 2 rbis as the Pittsburgh Pirates spoiled the Chicago Cubs home opener at Wrigley Field Monday afternoon 8-5. With the win the Pirates improve to 8-2 to lead the National League Central Division. Javier Baez homered twice in a losing cause for the Cubs. They also placed first baseman Anthony Rizzo on the 10 day disabled list with lower back tightness. Game 2 of the three game series is Wednesday night under the lights at Wrigley with Jon Lester (1-0) going for the Cubs and Steven Brault (2-0) for the Buccos.
