Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael Strange announced that a Lawrenceville man was sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 71 year-old Danny Moore was sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. That will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Moore is also required to pay a $1,000 fine as well as a $500 drug assessment fee.
