SALUKIS DOWN INDIANS IN ANNUAL ROTARY CLASSIC GAME

The Red Hill basketball Salukis picked up their third win over the Lawrenceville Indians Tuesday night winning the annual Rotary Midwinter Classic game during Pack the Place night in Bridgeport. They broke open a close game in the fourth quarter with a little offensive spurt enroute to a 61-49 victory. The Salukis led by 1 after one quarter, were tied at the half at 28 and led by three after three before notching their second straight win. Drew Moore led the way with 20 points while Corbin Shoulders added 11. For the Indians, who lost their sixth game in a row, Zeus Marsh scored 13 and Cale Powell added 10 off the bench. Red Hill also won the JV game 59-49 with Blake Allen scoring 21 points and Landen Ray 11 while Powell had 17 and Skyler Tewell 12 for the Tribe. With the win, the Salukis improve to 10-12 while the struggling Indians fall to 4-18. The Salukis are back in action Wednesday night as they host the Paris Tigers in a rescheduled conference game.  The Indians will host Casey Friday.
