The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the WAKO Radio listening area from 6 pm this evening until 6 am Wednesday morning. Mixed precipitation is expected. Total wet snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to
two tenths of an inch are expected. All of southwest Indiana, southeast Missouri, and southern Illinois, and that portion of west Kentucky along and
north of a Fulton to Calhoun line are included in the advisory. The ice could result in difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Wednesday. Drivers are urged to be prepared for reduced visibilities at times. A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Drivers should be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5-1-1.
