Fire destroyed a Lawrenceville home Thursday afternoon. Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District and Bridgeport Fire Protection District were called to the James Laslie residence at 1414 4th Street at around 2 p.m. There were no reported injuries. The fire did an estimated $15,000 worth of damage. A possible space heater malfunction is being considered the cause.
