The Lawrenceville basketball Indians lost their fifth straight game Thursday night. The Tribe were defeated by visiting Vincennes Rivet at LHS 65-61. The Patriots led 14-13 after one quarter, 29-22 at the half, and 47-32 after three quarters before the Indians made a furious rally at the end that cut the lead to single digits before Rivet hit free throws in the final moments to notch the win. The Patriots placed four players in double figures led by Coltin Mouzin with 21 points to improve to 4-3. The Indians placed two in double digits in scoring-Jordan Jones had 19 points before fouling out and Zeus Marsh added 12. With the loss, the Indians fall to 1-10 overall and will next see action on Tuesday, January 2nd at home against Hutsonville-Palestine.
