BASKETBALL INDIANS WIN FIRST ON ROAD

The Lawrenceville basketball Indians picked up their first win of the season on the road Tuesday night as they beat the Oblong Panthers in Oblong 79-47. The Indians used zone trapping pressure to jump out to a 25-16 lead after one quarter and never were seriously threatened. They extended the lead to 44-25 at the half and 62-39 after three quarters. Three players scored in double digits for the Tribe–Zeus Marsh and Jordan Jones each had 15 points and Skylar Tewell added 13 off the bench. Tewell also had 16 points in the 63-18 j.v. win. With the victory the Indians are now 1-5 and will head to Flora on Friday.
