LADY INDIANS PICK UP SECOND WIN VERSUS THE LADY SALUKIS

The Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians ran their winning streak to three in a row with a 69-32 win on Thursday night over the Red Hill Lady Salukis at Lawrenceville. The win was the second in two weeks over their county rivals. The Lady Indians used pressure defense to score the first 14 points of the game and never looked back. Jayley Akers led the way for the Lady Indians with 24 points while Charleigh Ferrell added 12 and Bailey Dining and Rebecca Uffizialotti each had 10. No one scored in double digits for the Lady Salukis as they were led by Kyleigh Richards with 8 points. The Lady Indians won the jv game 43-12. With the win, the Lady Indians Improve to 6-3 and will head to Flora Monday. The Lady Salukis with the loss are 2-3 and had a two game winning streak snapped. They will host Olney Monday in Bridgeport.
