Two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident in Washington Monday night. The accident occurred just after 9:30 eastern Monday night near the intersection of State Road 50 and 57 in Washington. Daviess County authorities say a semi t-boned a passenger car. The two people in the car died from their injuries. They have been identified as Marilyn and Kaitlyn Mattes from Washington. The semi driver, Brett Ramsey of Wheatland, was taken to an area hospital to be evaluated.
