A 60-year-old woman was rescued from the Wabash River after she reportedly jumped from the bridge yesterday morning. First responders were notified at around 11:30 a.m. and found the woman floating down the river. The Mt. Carmel Fire Water Rescue team were called to the scene to help rescue the woman. She was taken to Wabash General Hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
