Court News: Guilty Verdict in Meth Case, Not Guilty Plea in Shooting Case

-A Robinson man was found guilty on a methamphetamine possession charge in Lawrence County Circuit Court. A jury of six men and six women returned a guilty verdict against Michael T. Kingery following about an hour of deliberation. A sentencing hearing for Kingery is set for December 12th.

 -A Mt. Carmel man has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a shooting in Bellmont last month. Levi Glick is charged with two counts of home invasion with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Glick suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh during the altercation on September 21st. Another person was shot in the foot. Glick appeared in Wabash County Circuit Court and waived a preliminary hearing and formal arraignment before pleading not guilty to the three charges. A preliminary charge of attempted murder was never formally filed against Glick. Glick is being held on one million dollars. He is scheduled to be back in court on November 13th for a pre-trial conference.
